CreteCars publishes straightforward daily rates so you can plan your trip with no hidden costs. Every price you see on our fleet page is the base daily rate before optional add-ons.

How daily rates are calculated

The price you see next to each vehicle is the daily base rate. It reflects the car category, seasonal demand, and booking lead time. Rates update in real time so you always see the current best offer.

Base rates include standard insurance, unlimited kilometres, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
High-season dates (June–September) carry higher demand pricing; book early to lock in the lowest rate.
Longer rentals (7+ days) automatically receive a discounted daily rate at checkout.

Extras and additional services

Optional add-ons are priced per rental — not per day — so you pay once regardless of how long you keep the car.

Baby seat, booster seat, GPS navigation, and Wi‑Fi hotspot are available as single-fee extras.
Airport meet‑and‑greet delivery is free at Heraklion and Chania airports; other locations may carry a small route charge.
Additional drivers can be registered for a flat fee per rental.

Taxes and fees

All mandatory taxes and charges are included in the quote you approve before payment. There are no counter surprises.

Greek VAT (24%) is already inside every displayed rate.
No credit‑card surcharge, no deposit, and no young‑driver penalty are added at pickup.
Roadside assistance and third‑party liability are standard inclusions, not optional upgrades.
